ALWAYS LIVING MY BEST LIFE

Since the day I was born in Bruges in 1965, (Belgium), and today living near Cape Town (South Africa), the many overwhelming experiences I have lived, have shaped my soul .

Travelling overland from Belgium to Zimbabwe which took four years in a 4x4, was undoubtedly one of my greatest adventures ever. Setting-up a company in a foreign country, marriage, motherhood and in August 2005, breast cancer, have all had a profound effect on who I am today.

I have always been keen on languages. Over the past 10 years I have been writing primarily in English, but do intend to get back into the flair of French and Dutch, especially for travel writing.

I am privileged to work from our home Cocagne at the edge of the Kogelberg Biosphere Reserve, where day after day I am surrounded by nature, beauty, love and joy.
